Mandora Trust is in memory of and to pay homage to Mandora Mansinh Nathubha, who dedicated his life for the welfare of people. He was born to a farmer family at Vautha on 4th September, 1937.

Shri Mansinh Mandora’s story of life is a model of inspiration for hardwork, dedication and success. He was a strong leader, a dynamic personality, a humble human, an aggressive person in career and an adventurous person to face challenges. He was a man with the vision to help the needy and to promote education to poor children. He was a man of action rather than a man of words.

Though from a poor family, he was determined to complete his higher education and stayed at his relative’s house where he worked and completed his metrics exam in 1956. He then took up a government job of ‘Talati’(village accountant) for salary of Rs. 30/-, which was mostly spent to benefit others rather than his own needs. Thanks to his sincerity and hard work, he was- mostly spent to benefit others rather than his own needs. Thanks to his sincerity and hard work, he was respected by all. Villagers of Vautha found him most trustworthy discussing their problems and seeking solutions and help from him.

Apart from these moral duties and responsibilities, he was actively involved and capable of single handedly manage various social and cultural activities like the well-known Vautha fair, which is one of the biggest annual fairs of India.

His noble practices and efforts continued throughout his life and he is still alive in the memories of thousands of people. Today, his following generation is reaping the benefits of the strong belief and discipline imbibed in them. Mandora Trust was established by his children to spread these activities on a larger scale.

Mandora trust intends to continue with Shri Mansinh’s belief of spreading the light of education, feeding the hungry, curing the sick and showing guiding path to the youth.

Every week, food is distributed to the hungry across various places of Ahmedabad. Schools are provided with adequate funds to provide necessary infrastructure for education. Gifts like books, stationary items, etc are distributed amongst children in villages to encourage education. Children and Youngsters with poor economic background but eager to pursue further studies are supported by Mandora Trust to help fulfill their dreams.

Hope with the blessings of Shri Sai Baba, Mandora trust continues to contribute for the welfare of society and the message is spread across encouraging many to come forward and participating and such activities.
